Kraftin' Kimmie's Challenge....#4!! And more sneak peeks!!

Well, it's Saturday...yaaaaaaaaaaay! And that means it's time for another fun challenge at Kraftin' Kimmie stamps! Not only that, but tomorrow all the new November stamps will be released at the KKS Store! Woohooooo! So we've got some more preview creations for ya!!

This week's rockin' hostess is Tara!! And the challenge is called Tag You're It and she wants us to use tags of any shape or size on our designs!!

For my card, I decided to use these cute, furry critters that Crissy drew and I named Ozzie and Harriet! heehee! Aren't they just schweet?! I stamped them on Neenah white cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured them in with my Copic markers! The papers I chose are from the Wassail Basic Grey 6x6 pad and I used traditional Christmas colours for the cardstocks. The marker colours I used were: E40, E41, E42, E43, E44, R000, R89, W3, BG93 and BG96.

I used my square Nesties to cut them out and emboss them, added some Basic Grey buttons and linen thread and some kraft taffeta ribbon in a purty bow! Then I used my tag Nesties to cut out a long tag and stamped 'Beary Christmas' on it and this sentiment is from the new Kimmie's Holiday Sentiments set! Fun, right? I pop dotted everything and there ya go!!

Be sure to hop on over to the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Challenge Blog to check out everyone else's tagged designs and then join in the fun....because you could be a random winner of some lovely new rubbah!!

And don't forget to come back tomorrow to join us for our November Release Blog Hop!!!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Previews.....Day 2!!!

So it's Day 2 of our previews for the new Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! We certainly hope you are enjoying all this delicious eye candy!!!

Today I have used an A-DOR-ABLE new image by Crissy and her name is Bernadette!! I just love naming all these stamps...I think that's my favourite part...picking out their names!! haha! I decided to use this awesome patterned paper by the Paper Salon. I picked up a 6x6 pad of these fun winter designs at.....get this....the dollar store!!! No kidding! What a score!

So I stamped Bernadette on Neenah white cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured her in using my handy dandy......Copic markers!!! (Did I sound like Steve from Blue's Clues there??) The colours I used were: E41, E42, E43, R20, BV31, G000, G00, B91, B95, B97.

The card base is a 6x6 square of Kraft cardstock and the layout is a Kimmie original, so feel free to use it...baahahaha! I added some lilac coloured twill and tied it in a bow and also a trio of different sized glittery acrylic snowflakes and attached them with brads. I stamped the super cute sentiment...which comes with Bernadette by the way....and pop dotted everything!

Doesn't she just make you just scrunch up your eyebrows and say 'Awwwww!'? Hehe!

Now be sure to jump around to some more Krafty Girls' blogs and see what images they played with for ya!!!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Previews......Day 1!!!

Woohoooooo! It's our first official day of previews for the November release of Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!! If you stopped by yesterday, you would have seen a sneak peek a day early!! And if you didn't see it....well, you can just scroll down...hehe!

The image I used for my first preview is a new Annie Rodrigue image and her name is Antoinette!!! Doesn't she just look so joyful in her winter clothes and skates?? She just looks so free!!!

The designer papers I used are all from a retired Simply Scrappin' kit from Stampin' Up! I loved the colour combo and the patterns so much, I still have a lot left!! Hehe! The card base is a 6x6 Bashful Blue square and I accented with Real Red. I stamped Antoinette on Neenah cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured her in using my Copic markers. (Big shock, I know!) The colours I used were: E000, E00, E11, R20, E42, E43, B91, B93, B95, R81, R83, R85, G85, R29 and C00. Then I used my fancy new Nesties to cut her out and emboss her. While the frame was still on, I sponged around the edge using pink ink.

I stamped the sentiment, Frosty Winter Greetings, which is from the new Kimmie's Holiday Sentiments set (which has 44, yes I said 44, awesome phrases in lots of cool fonts) on the bottom of the card, pop dotted the main layer and added some super sparkly rhinestone snowflakes!!! Ain't she purty?!!!

All of these new images and sentiments will be available on Sunday, November 1st!! I can't wait!!

Now be sure to hop around to some of our Krafty Girls' blogs and check out some more sneaky peeky goodness!!!

Copics Colour Challenge....and a PEEK!!!

I TOLD you if you kept your eyes peeled you might see a sneaky peek a little early!!! Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps is sponsoring the Copics Colour Challenge this week! And not only are we the sponsors, we even joined in with the challenge!!!

This week's Copic combination is E33, YG06 and R20, or whatever colours you have that are close! Now you may recognize this little cutie pie!! It's Maxwell and this month, he's snowboarding!! haha! I paired him up with my new Eskimo Kisses paper by Basic Grey.

The card base is a 6x6 square of Kraft cardstock with different Bazzill colours for matting. I stamped the new image on Neenah white cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured him in using my Copic markers. In case you are interested, all the marker colours I used were: E33, YG06, R20, R11, V09, YG93, YG96 and R39.

I cut out the image and embossed it using my Nesties and then coloured around the edge to make it pop! I added a strip of contrasting dp, a strip of light pink and a piece of light blue that I decorated with my scalloped border punch! I added some stitched grosgrain ribbon and did a flouncy, pretty bow and then added a button with some linen thread. Then I added the 'Snow Much Fun' sentiment which comes with the Maxwell Snowboarding rubber stamp!! Perfect, right?!

So several of the Krafty Girls have played along with the challenge....and they've ALL used images from the November release....which is only a few days away!!! So be sure to hop around to their blogs to check out some of the new images you've been waiting to see!

CCDesigns Winter Swiss Pixies!!!

Today I am previewing a new CCDesigns stamp that will be available with their November release!!

Now you KNOW how much I love those Pixies!! And these girls are NO exception! Doesn't this sweet little thing look adorable in her coat and boots! And she even has some delicate sparkly wings!

I pulled out my new Colorful Christmas paper pack by My Mind's Eye...just love the non-traditional colours in it! I stamped the image on Neenah white cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured her in with my coordinating copic markers. The colours I used are: E000, E00, E11, R20, E42, E43, YG23, YG25, R83, R85, YR12, YR07, BG000 and BG0000.

I used my new Labels Eight Nesties (yes, I took note of the Nestie number this time!) and cut her out and embossed her. The card base is 6x6 and I used some bright green and dark turquoise and also some rosey red Bling for the accenting layer. I added some grosgrain ribbon and a couple of diecuts from the paper kit. I pop dotted everything and then finished off the image by adding some sparkle to her wings and the snowflakes with my Sakura Stardust gel pen!

Hop on over to the All That Scraps Blog to see more designs using the Swiss Pixies!!

Psssssssssst!!!

There's this rumour going around......that maybe there will be some previews of the new Kraftin' Kimmie images starting this Thursday!!! Yep! Maybe even before, if you keep your eyes peeled!! And the next release is coming up on Sunday, November 1st!! Now.... that's just what I heard! PASS IT ON!!! *giggle*

Kraftin' Kimmie's Challenge #3!!

Autumn is my faaaaaaavourite time of year! I love the bright sunshine and cooler temperatures, so I can wear hoodies and sweaters and take walks with the fallen leaves crunching beneath my sneakers!! *sigh* Sadly, the fall this year has consisted mainly of rain, wind, clouds and the only thing underneath my sneakers is mud! YUCK!!

Anyhoooo, this week's hostess for our Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge is Vicki and she has named her challenge, Shades of Autumn. Sounds so serene, doesn't it? I think she's trying to distract me from the anger I feel towards the weather right now...hahahahaaaaaa! It's a fun colour challenge and she wants us to use Brown, Rust and either Green or Yellow on our designs!!

So I pulled out pretty Posy! I think she looks a little coy and a tad mischievous with that wink! I used some great My Mind's Eye paper...it's actually from the Halloween paper kit they have called Boo To You...great colours! I stamped Posy on Neenah cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured her in with my Copic markers. The markers I used are: E000, E00, E11, E09, E08, YG03, YG99, E33, E35, E37, YR12 and YR14!

I cut her out with my new Nesties (don't ask me the number, I don't know...) and while it was still in the frame, I sponged on some Rangers dye ink. It came out a little harsher than I intended...I obviously need some practice doing that with dye inks. *sigh* I used Bazzill for the card base and some SU (I think it's Marigold Morning) to layer and then added some great Prima flowers with brads, some green ric rack and some flatback pearls. I pop dotted Posy and the sentiment layer (OH and that sentiment is from a new set of stamps that may be making an appearance over at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps some time soon...hehe).

So there ya have it! Be sure to pop over to the Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge Blog and check out the paper goodness those Krafty Girls have cooked up for ya! AND we have a special Krafty Friend joining us this week! Simonne has created a fabulous design that she has graciously shared with us!!

Me? I have to head into work this morning and work ALL day with my boss....not fun. Hope you have a better day than I will!!

Class Time!!!

Well, Andrea and I have another Copic class ready to go for this Sunday, October 25th!!! This month we are featuring some adorable images from The Greeting Farm!

This is Megan and I think she looks SO saucy!! The cardstock is all Bazzill and coordinates perfectly with the sparkly patterned paper by Best Creation Inc. I looooove the pinks and purples! I stamped Megan on Neenah cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured her in with my Copic markers. Here's a list of the colours I used: E000, E00, E11, R20, E42, E43, E44, BV01, BV31, V000, V01, V06, RV32 and RV34.

I cut her out using my Creative Memories cutting mat and circles. I added some fantastically bright pink grosgrain ribbon across the middle and attached some pretty pink flowers around the edge with tiny brads! Isn't she adorable?

Then I decided to do a real boyish card, because I know I am always struggling to do manly cards...how about you?? I used the Hello Ian stamp on Neenah cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black ink....again...hehe. Again the cardstock is all by Bazzill and the patterned paper is by Pink Paislee this time. Here are the copics I used to colour Ian: E000, E00, E11, R20, R29, R59, YG91, BG93, BG96, YR21, YR23, E31 and E55.

I added some lovely green grosgrain ribbon and tied it in a bow. I then took a clear button and traced it on some coordinating dp and cut it out. I attached it to the button and added some linen thread. I sponged around the edges of the focal layer using a chalk ink and a sponge dauber. I attached the button and some Prima leaves to the corner of the image and pop dotted everything!!

So these are two of the fabulous cards that you will be creating yourself if you come to our Copic class on Sunday at Scrappin' Great Deals! There are several spots left, so be sure to call Sheila at the store and reserve your spot!!

See ya then!!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps - Challenge #2!!

Woohooooo! It's Saturday and you know what that means......? NO, not a day to sleep in.....well, besides that!! It's time for another awesome Kraftin' Kimmie challenge!! There were so many amazing entries, I just can't believe how many people joined in the 'birthday' fun!

This week's challenge is brought to us by the sassy Miss Jeanne! We all have 'stuff' that we buy and have a ton of, but rarely get around to using...don't we? I know I do! Well this week Jeanne would like us to play with our BUTTONS!!

Well, I decided to play with my pal Lillith this week! And I found a sheet of this fun Daisy Bucket paper from a ways back....so I coloured her with my Copics to match the paper. In case you are interested, the markers I used are: E000, E00, E11, R20, B000, B00, B01, E43, E44, E47, YR21, YR23, G20, YG13, R81, R83 and R85!

I cut her out using my new Nesties.....Labels 6...7....9....I have no idea. I can't remember the stupid numbers. But they're new. And then, while Lillith was still in the Nestie, I sponged some green craft ink around the edges. Looks cool, right??

I used my tag Nesties to cut out the sentiment layer and attached it with some tiny brads. The sentiment is from the fabulous Kimmie's Everyday Sentiments set, which has over 30 awesome phrases in it!! It's a deal...if I do say so myself!!

I used Bazzill Bling for all the cardstock and the base is 6x6...my favourite size! I added some wide rose grosgrain ribbon across the middle and tied it in a big bow! I pop dotted the main layer and added some purty buttons!!

Now hop on over to the Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge Blog and check out the other samples made by our awesome design team AND a couple of Krafty Guests!! Then join in the button challenge and you might be the random winner of this week's Kimmie Stamps!!!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps - Challenge #1!!

Woohoo! It's our very first challenge over at the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Challenge Bloggy-poo!! Hope you'll play along!!

This week's challenge is a very simple one....I wanted to ensure that everyone could join in the fun! All you have to do is create.....a Birthday card!! A card or project or scrapbook page with a birthday theme!! Easy, right? We all need more of those in our stash!!

So here is my design!! I used our lovely friend, Francesca!! I thought she would look awesome in pinks and browns....you know that's one of my fave colour combos!! And this fun piece of Creative Imaginations patterned paper has those colours, plus some lovely creamy yellows!! Mmmm.

I stamped Francesca on Neenah smooth cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured her in with Copic markers. I then sponged around the edges of the main layer with So Saffron and Close to Cocoa inks. The card base is Chocolate chip and the pink cardstock is some lovely Bazzill Bling! I used my Fiskars border punch across the bottom strip and added some Rose Red grosgrain ribbon. I also coloured the cupcake accessory stamp that comes with Francesca and cut it out...then used it on the sentiment layer tag! The sentiment is from Kimmie's Everyday Sentiments set which has over 30 fun phrases in some super fonts!!

So head on over to the Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge Blog and check out the lovely creations by our Krafty Girls!!! Then join in the fun and you could win some shiny new rubbah!!!

There were SO many stampin' ladies there, coming to help us celebrate and to get their inky fingers on new rubber.....my kinda gals!! heehee! We had a beautiful display of sample cards made by the design team, along with printed copies of cards that the Krafty Girls who live far away had sent me, so we ooohed and aaahed over them all afternoon! Everything was beautiful!!

Lots of people did the make and takes....in fact, there were none left after all was said and done! They must have had fun playing with all the new images! Thank you SO much to Andrea for preparing all the supplies and stampin' up all the images....you did a great job, girl!

Crissy, Moi and Andrea

Crissy did a couple of colouring demonstrations....one with Copics and one watercolouring with Tombows. Everyone was crowded around her table the whole time. Thank you SO much Crissy for sharing your time and talent with everyone. You make it all look so easy! I love ya, girl!

Thank you to my family....Al and Emileigh are my 'employees' and will cut or package whenever I put scissors in their hands and they are so into the whole stamp company thing! They are having as much fun with it as I am, I think! Mom and Dad, you are so supportive and I appreciate that more than words can say.

But the biggest thanks has to go to Sheila for offering to throw me this awesome launch party to help kick off my new company!! All the cardstock I used on this card is by Bazzill and the designer papers are from the Pretty Please line by My Mind's Eye. Yummm-o! So pretty! I added a strip of crocheted lace that was a scrap on my table...love when that happens...and I attached some pretty Prima hydrangeas with green brads. I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Neenah smooth cardstock and coloured her in with my Copics...of course!! The sentiment I added is from the Kimmie's Everyday Sentiments set! Day 3 Previews!!!!

It feels like Christmas Eve!! One more sleep until my store is OPEN!!! I don't think I'm going to be able to sleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep!!

The first card I'm going to show you today just makes me giggle! This is Lillith and I imagine that Mom and Dad just got her all dressed up for some fancy party but she'd rather play with her froggie friends!! hehe! This is another fabulous creation by Annie Rodrigue and Lillith comes with a froggie friend accessory stamp! How sweet is that?

The card has a 6x6 chocolate brown base with red and green cardstocks for matting. The designer papers are from the Pebbles So Tweet collection. Of course I coloured the images using my Copic markers on Neenah white cardstock and used my Nesties to cut them out and emboss them. I attached some Prima hydrangeas with blue brads and pop dotted everything. The sentiment I used is from the Kimmie's Everyday Sentiments set, which was lovingly created by our very own Jeanne Streiff!! The woman has endless talent, wouldn't you say?

This next card features two adorable characters from Crissy Armstrong! Please say hello to Roxy and Bernice!! I coloured them with my Copic markers as well and the yummy dp is from the DCWV Green Stack. The card base is 5 1/4 square in a rusty red along with matting in blue, brown and green cardstocks. I added some ribbon tags along with some buttons and brown linen thread.

Roxy and Bernice come with this sentiment, Furever Friends, which is perfect....don't you think??

Day 2 Previews!!!

Did you know it's World Cardmaking Day today??!! How fun is that? Well, it would be except for the fact that I have to work at the library all day today! Sheesh! Do they not care what's going on in a papercrafter's life?? Apparently not!

BUT maybe these new Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps previews will inspire you to be creative today!!!

The first card I'm going to show you is another Crissy Armstrong image! We were talking on the phone one day about doing some fun woodland creature images. We were brainstorming and this little deer just popped right into the conversation! Meet Dorothy! She's quite the 'party animal' (sorry...had to say that) and she looks like she's havin' a great time with her hat and party horn!

This card is 5 1/4 square using Bazzill cardstocks and some fun We R Memorykeepers dp. I stamped her on Neenah white cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured her in using my Copic markers. I added some rose ribbon, a trio of button brads and a sentiment! This is the coordinating sentiment that comes with Dorothy!! Isn't she a 'deer'???

The Annie image I've used for today's preview is Posy!!! She's such a sweetheart! I just adore her pretty dress and bouquet of roses! I coloured her with my Copics as well using colours that coordinated with the Kaitlyn designer papers I used. I used Bazzill cardstocks in pink, green and lilac! You will notice a beautiful larger rose in the corner....that's the accessory stamp that comes with Posy!! And the sentiment is from Kimmie's Everyday Sentiments, which will also be available on Monday!

Be sure to stop at the Krafty Girls' blogs to check out more amazing designs using the new stamps!! Heeeheee!!

Only two more sleeps! ONLY TWO MORE SLEEPS!!!!
