CCDesigns Preview!

Hey there all you stampers! Hope you had an amazing Christmas holiday! Ours was wonderful! Parts were quiet and relaxing and other parts were busy and wonderful and filled with family! Perfect!

Today I have a CCDesigns Preview for ya! New stamps, both digital and rubber, will be released on January 4th at midnight and today begins the previews!

I got to play with the adorable new Swiss Pixies....this is Miss Rosalie!! I stamped her on Neenah white cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured her in with my Copic markers. I pulled out some SU designer papers that I had yet to use and coordinated my markers with the colours in the paper. If you are interested, I used: E000, E00, R20, E41, E42, E43, V000, V01, V12, V15, RV19 and YG95.

I cute Rosalie out and embossed her using my Nesties and then sponged around the edges while she was still in the frame. The card base is a 5 1/4 inch square card of Rich Razzleberry with matching polka dot ribbon. I used Orchid Opulence for matting and Pink Pirouette for the sentiment (which is from the AmyR Friend Sentiment Set) and pop dotted everything. Finally I attached some rich Prima hydrangea flowers with some Basic Grey brads! Isn't she a doll?

Hop on over to the ATS Blog to check out the wonderful creations made by some of the other DT gals and then leave a comment to win some of your own rubber goodness!

Kraftin' Kimmie Kard Kits!!

haahaaaa! How fun is that title?! As some of you probably know, each month Andrea and I put together card kits for Scrappin' Great Deals. We choose stamps, designer papers, cardstock, envies, embellishments etc. and put them all together in a limited edition kit! Everything coordinates so you don't have to think about what goes together....you just stamp!

Well, this month, Sheila asked us to use some Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! The December Card Kits include your choice of either Josephine or Daddy's Little Girl....or you can always get both kits!!

We chose some GORGEOUS new Bo Bunny papers along with some delicious Bazzill cardstocks and added some flowers, brads, buttons and some TOTALLY luscious chocolate ruffled ribbon!! You can see it all on my sample!

I used Daddy's Little Girl and stamped her using Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Neenah cardstock and coloured her in using my Copic markers. Here are the colours I used: E00, R21, R27, BG0000, E43, E44, YG03, G20, YG25 and 0.

I made the layout to look something like a window and added the scrumptious ribbon as a 'curtain'! hehe. I attached some of the pink flowers with large red brads and added one of the sentiments that comes with the stamp!!

The kits go on sale today at the store, but with our large number of Kit Club members, there are only a few extras for sale, so be sure to call Sheila to order/reserve yours. OR you can also become a member and get the kits for 15% off each month!!

Well, I'm off to do some Christmas shopping today....hopefully I'll get it all done and I won't have to worry about it! Then I'm coming home to cut and package January release stamps.....yes, I already have the January stamps in my inky little fingers. Was that teasing?? Hmmm....it just might have been. *giggle*

Have a wonderful day!!

Kraftin' Kimmie's Challenge #10!!

Well, since December seems to have crept up on us this year and everyone is so busy with holiday preparations, I decided that this would be our last challenge for 2009! I wanted to give the design team a few weeks off, to have a little rest and relaxation (not to mention getting them all rested up for the amazing new stamps we have in production for you in 2010!! hehe!

This week's challenge is brought to us by Krafty Girl Andrea and her theme is Sparkle, Baby!!! We've all got lots of sparkly stuff, don't we girls??!! So pull out your glitter, your rhinestones, your shiny, sparkly schtuff and get creatin'!!

For my card, I used the lovely Clara!! I wanted to use this new glittery Bo Bunny designer paper that I got a couple of weeks ago! YUM-O!! The card base is a 6x6 purple card with olive green and red matting cardstocks. I coloured Clara with my Copic markers in coordinating colours....E000, E00, E41, E42, BG000, BG0000, BG72, BG75, YG93, V06, V09, R46 and R59.

I cut out and embossed Clara using my circle Nesties and attached some glittery holly leaves from my stash with some red brads. I tied a bow with some beautiful silvery purple ribbon and added stickles around the frame of the main layer! And I finished it off by adding a sentiment from Kimmie's Holiday Sentiments set.

Be sure to hop over to the challenge blog and check out what the gang made....be warned....it's preeeeety sparkly!! Then join in and make yours too! Be sure to link it up to the blog to be entered in for some rubber goodies!

Have a Krafty weekend!!

Wags n' Whiskers Blog Hop!

I was so thrilled to be asked to join in the Wags n' Whiskers Blog Hop today!!! It was such a thrill to play with yet another of Crissy Armstrong's wonderful images!

There are a bunch of wonderfully talented people along the hop today so be sure to start at the beginning, at the WNW Blog!!

I used this image called With Love and I absolutely adore her! I used my Basic Grey Bittersweet paper pack for inspiration to colour her up! What a perfect Valentine creation, don't ya think??

The card base is 6x6 Chocolate Chip cardstock and I coloured her using my Copic markers! (Are you surprised??) In case you are interested, the colours I used are: E00, R20, E 41, E42, E43, E44, R81 R83, R85, R46, R59, G20 and W000. I used one of my new Nesties to cut out the main image and emboss it.

I used my slot punch on the side to allow me to thread the yummy pink ribbon through and tie it in a bow on the other side. I also layered some older Prima flowers that I still had, to make them look like carnations and attached them with some glitter brads. Then, for the finishing touch, I used the I Love You sentiment stamp from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps and pop dotted everything! I love the way it turned out!

Now before you leave here to continue the hop, be sure to leave a comment as there will be four random winners who will get choose two of their fave stamps from the Wags n' Whiskers line! Woohoo!!

Don't forget...these awesome new images will go on sale today at 7am EST!!

There! Now you can hop on over to Deb's blog and see what she's got to show ya!!! Have a wonderful weekend!!

Kraftin' Kimmie's Challenge #9!!

Good Saturday morning stampers!! Can you believe it's December already??? I just can't wrap my tiny brain around it....only 20 days until Christmas!! I have SO much to do!! It's certainly starting to feel like winter around here too....yesterday was so cold and we even had a few flakes last week! Yikes!!

This week's super fun challenge is brought to us by my sassy Krafty Girl, Vicki!! She'd like us to make a Gift Card Holder!! Well, that's perfect for me because I'm definitely giving some gift cards this year to some people on my list!!

I decided to use the adorable pair of skating bears, Ozzie and Harriet!! And I paired them up with some of my favourite non-traditional patterned papers by My Mind's Eye! I coloured them in with the following Copic markers: E30, E31, W00, B00, E44, R81, R83, R85, R29 and G94.

I coloured the image, then cut it out and pop dotted it on a circular layer that I made using my Nesties. I sewed a little bit on the main decorated layer and the cardstocks I used were Bazzill Bling! I added some pink taffeta ribbon and a charm that says Joy! For the card itself, I made it a regular A2 sized card but added an extra flap on the bottom and folded it in. I tacked it down on the sides, decorated the flap and tucked the gift card inside. Super easy!

Now head on over to the Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge Blog and check out the awesome designs by our Krafty Girls!! Then be sure to create one of your own and show it to us! Don't forget to add the keywords KKSC9 if you upload it to an online gallery, such as SCS...that way we can all check them out!! And if you join in the fun, you could win some rubbery goodness from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!!

Have a wonderful Saturday!!!

This week, Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps is sponsoring a fabulous sketch challenge over at Papertake Weekly!! I absolutely ADORE their sketches and this one is no different!! I love having a starting point with a sketch and then most of my guesswork is done!!

I decided to use Lola Davinci for my card, since she's the only image from the newest release that I hadn't inked up yet! Just ran out of time....haha! I stamped Lola on Neenah white cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured her in with my Copics.

The cardstock is all SU and the papers are by Imaginisce. I sponged around the frame of Lola, added some ribbon and some buttons. The sentiment is from the new Kimmie's Fun Sentiments set! In case you are interested, the Copic markers I used are: E00, E11, E42, E43, E44, E47, B14, R29, G14, Y11, Y15 and YR15.
