Challenge 43 - Let's See Your Pearly Whites!!!

This week's challenge over at the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps blog is from the wonderful Jeanne!! And she'd like to see your Pearly Whites!! No, not your teeth, silly! She'd like you to use pearls and white on your design!!

Well, I think I've got the pearl part down but the white.....well, not so much! I decided to play with my Basic Grey Kioshi papers and fabric flowers. The papers I chose we all soft greens and blues and I paired them up with the lovely Swan Princess!

I stamped her on Neenah and coloured her up with my Copic markers, then sponged around the frame with some soft blue chalk ink. The card base is Chocolate Chip with Baja Breeze for matting. The sentiment I used comes with Daphne. I added a spray of pearls along the side and a couple of biggers ones on the right side of the main layer. I finished this baby off with some sparkly Stardust Stickles on her wings!!

So pull out your pearls and your white paper and your Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps and let's see whatcha got!! We'd love for you to play along, so hop over to the KKStamps Challenge Blog and check out what the Krafty Girls and Guests have created for your inspiration, then be sure to link up your design there! Also, you can used the keyword KKSC43 when uploading to an online gallery!

Have an awesome weekend!! And happy kraftin'!!

This week Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps is sponsoring the Cute Card Thursday challenge....and it's a fabulous sketch!!! And I've added to the blog candy! That's TWO chances to win your choice of rubbah!!! Come on....you know you wanna plaaaaaaaaaaaay!!

I used the *new* Mitzi the Mummy from our Halloween release! Isn't she a hoot? The papers are all from the Boo to You collection from My Mind's Eye! I stamped her on Neenah cardstock using Memento ink and coloured her up with my Copic markers. I sponged around the main image with two different colours of chalk ink.....a warm yellow and a rusty orange.

I followed the sketch pretty much to a T....which is pretty good for me....you know how I like to bend the rules a bit! I added some lovely green ribbon across the middle and then the spider is actually a cardstock sticker from the Boo to You collection. I finished it off by added the Trick or Treat saying from the Halloween Sentiments set.

The sketch for this week's challenge is perfect for so many of our images, so I hope you can play along! You could win some KKStamps rubbah!!

My card today features the *New* Witchypoo!! She's definitely not like the creepy, gnarly witch on the Wizard of Oz, is she?? This gal's cute and sexy, I think!! She also comes with two accessory stamps....a kitty cat and a bat!!

I stamped her on Neenah cardstock and coloured her up with my Copics, then cut her out....not an easy job, let me tell you! The papers I used are from the Boo to You line by My Mind's Eye. The card base is a black 6x6 and I also used some yellow and rust cardstocks for matting. The clouds are die cut from some white felt and I added some sparkle around the edges of the clouds using my Sakura Stardust gel pen. There are two large green sparkly brads in the top corners and I added some black rick rack which pops right off the card! Lastly I added the PERFECT sentiment for little Witchypoo, which is in the Halloween Sentiments set!

Krafty Peeks...Day THREE!! And Challenge #41!!

Are ya back for more??? Well, we've got lots more gruesome samples for ya!! Today is our Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge and our spook-tacular hostess is KRISTA!! She has given us a recipe to follow.....BUTTONS, BLING and SCALLOPS!!! What a super combination and we'd love for you to play along.....you could win a stamp from the *NEW* images that are released tomorrow!!!!

I used the awesome new Mitzi the Mummy from Annie Rodrigue! Isn't she fun?? The card base is 6x6 Basic Black and the designer papers I used are from the Midnight Spell Stack from DCWV. They are so fun!

I stamped Mitzi on Neenah using Memento ink and coloured her up with my Copics! What a shock, I know! I used my CM circle cutter to cut a nice big circle out of the spooky forest paper and then used a circle punch to cut a moon out of some So Saffron cardstock and sponged around the edge to give it some definition. I have lots of this awesome velvet scalloped ribbon which I put along the top edge of the card and also attached some fun orange star buttons beside Mitzi. I sponged all around the main layer, added some coloured cardstocks and added some bling to her hair with my Sakura Stardust gel pen. The perfect finishing touch is this fun phrase from the new Halloween Sentiments set!!

Wait 'til you see all the gorgeous creations the Krafty Girls and Krafty Guests have ready for ya over at the Challenge Blog!! Please join us for this week's challenge and be sure to share your creation!!

Make sure you come back tomorrow for our Krafty Hop and RELEASE DAYYYYYYY!!!

More Krafty Peeks??? Okay!!!

From all the comments we received yesterday, I'd say you all are enjoying our Kreepy Krafty Peeks!!! How do you feel about a couple more??? Well, alright then!!!

This first card features another of Annie Rodrigue's original paintings.........it's Batty Princess!!! I've been WAITING to make this one into a stamp! Isn't she magnificent?? Kinda creepy but totally cute!!!

I used some new foil papers from the new Midnight Spell Stack by DCWV that I picked up at Joann's last weekend! I coloured her up with my Copic markers and sponged around the edges with some Basic Gray ink. I used Basic Black and Orchid Opulence cardstocks, added some black rick rack and a couple of MS bats. Lastly I added the sentiment that comes with Batty Princess and then sparkled her dress up a bit with my Stardust gel pen.

Next up is Tommy Treats by artist Steven Leary! This little dude is collecting his candy door to door and he can't wait to get home and dig into it!! I coloured him up with my Copics and again, sponged it with chalk ink. The papers I used for inspiration are from last year's My Mind's Eye...I think it's called Spooky. The bats on the card are actually clipped from some batty ribbon and they are totally 3-D. I added some black Scrapper's Floss and some rhinestones, then stamped another fantastic phrase from the Halloween Sentiments set!!

Now hop on over to the Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge Blog and see what all our Krafty Girls and some very special Krafty Guests have to show you!!! Be prepared to be SCARED!!! heehee!

Kreepy Krafty Peeks!!! Day One!!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps is gettin' kreeeeepy!!! heehee! We've got THIRTEEN new Halloween' images and SO many spooky sentiments to share this month!!! Today and every day until Sunday, we'll show you lots of fun samples and on Sunday, you can join us for our Release Day Krafty Hop!! Woohooooooo!

So I've got a purple theme goin' on today....purple is my fave colour!! First I'm playing with one of Annie Rodrigue's new scaaaaary images...this is Hattie the Ghost! I stamped her on Neenah cardstock with Memento ink and coloured her up with my Copic markers.

I sponged around the frame of the oval Nestie with a soft purple ink. I can't tell you what papers I used because they were loose in my 'holiday drawer' of papers. But I love the combo of purple and black! I added some pretty Prima flowers and the perfect phrase from our new Halloween Sentiments set!!

Next up is Halloween Miles and Maisie!! Looks like they're on their way out to a costume party, doesnt' it?? Hehe! It's Dracula mouse and the mouse Bride of Frankenstein!! Haha! How fun!! I used the same sort of papers, but this time added green to the mix!

I used my new Martha Stewart cobweb punch and a cute little Doodlebug bat button with black Scrapper's Floss. I added a bit of polka dotted ribbon, some sparkly purple brads and another fantastically spooky sentiment!!!

Be sure to hop on over to the KKStamps Blog and check out what the other Krafty Girls and Krafty Guests have to show you!!

Challenge # 40 - It's a Boy Thing!!

This is going to be a super quick post done in record time!! I'm heading out the door around 5:30am today to head out on a bus trip to the Stamp Show in Novi, Michigan! Anyone else going too??

This week's Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge is brought to us by the lovely Vicki, and she'd like us to create a Boy card!! I'm always in need of a dude-ish card, aren't you??

So I used Billy Blyth....can you believe I hadn't inked him up yet?? *GASP* And since my nephew is totally into pirates, I thought this would be a perfect card for him. I used some Granola patterned papers by Basic Grey and coloured him up with my Copic markers. I used my Nesties to cut him out and sponged him while I still had the frame on. I tied on an anchor charm with some brown linen thread and then added a fun sentiment from the Pirate Sentiments set.

Be sure to join in our challenge this week and you could win some new rubber! Hop on over to the challenge blog and check out all the inspiration from our Krafty Girls!

Kay, I'm outta here!! I think I'm going to need a nap on the bus ride, but once we get to the Stamp Show, I'll be a shoppin' machine!!!! Woohoooo! Have a super weekend!!

Happy kraftin'!!
