March Krafty Hop.....the END!!

You've reached the end of the this month's Krafty Hop....awwwwwwwwwww! And now you can shop!! But not before you check out my cards!! hahaha!! I have THREE to share....one from each line that we are releasing at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!! Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!

My first one features the adorable Agnes!!! She's so fun! That's totally NOT me in the kitchen baking....I don't bake.....I don't cook......I stamp! haha!!! No, I'm serious. Ask my family! Haha! No, seriously.

Anyhoo, I used some SU patterned papers and matching cardstock. Agnes comes with a coordinating sentiment stamp and TWO matching sentiment stamps! I added some pink rick rack and that fabulous measuring spoon embellishment!

The second one features one of Steven Leary's new Pirates! Meet One Eyed Willie! I used some My Mind's Eye papers and brown linen thread. I also added those yummy velvet brads and one of the fantastic sentiments from the Pirate Sentiments set!!

The last card uses one of the wonderful new quotes from Krafty Quotes #2!! This month our set features sentiments from Lauren Bacall, L.M. Montgomery, Mother Teresa and my card uses the one from Bette Midler!!! I did a very simple layout as I want the focus to be on the sentiment.

I'm going to stop talking now!! I hope you've enjoyed this month's Krafty Blog Hop! Now the stamps are ALL up at the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Shop!!! Enjoy and happy kraftin'!!!

So use your Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps...but use any papers, any colours, any embellishments, any theme, any layout....we wanna see your KKStamps cards!!!

I've got two cards to show you today! The first features Cap'n Charlie....I think this swashbuckler is my favourite of the new Pirates!!! He's got a fantastic flag and wooden sword and I love the look on his face....he must be saying 'Aaaargh!'. And of course I used one of the perfect Pirate Sentiments! The papers are from DCWV and I added some twine, some glittery black brads and an awesome skull and crossbones charm!

The second card features Brigitte!! I'm thinking I need to take a nice hot bubble bath right now....you too??? Doesn't she look happy and relaxed?? And the sentiment I used, comes with Brigitte along with a second one AND a bonus accessory stamp! The papers are from Basic Grey and I used some nice satin ribbon and added a double bow made using my Bow Easy template and those beautiful roses are made by Prima!!!

I really hope you can join us for this fun and easy challenge! If you do, you could win either Brigitte or Cap'n Charlie!! Now hop on over to the Challenge Blog and check out what the other Krafty Girls and Guests have whipped up for ya!

Are YOU an Everyday Girl??! Krafty Peeks...Day THREE!

The new Annie Rodrigue stamps for this month are called the Everyday Girls....and that's because each of them could be any one of us!!!

Today I'm sharing an image that is very special to me....because I named it after my Momma, Diana! (You may know her as Stampin' Nana Diana!) *smile* She is such a sweet and loving Mom, not to mention a generous and supportive friend! She is an incredible Nana too! She and my daughter Emileigh are so close and this image reminds me of the two of them together when Emmy was just a bitty thing! Love you Mom!!

So I stamped Diana on Neenah using Memento ink and coloured her up with my Copics, 'o course! The patterned papers are Basic Grey, although the name of them slips my mind (as does most everything else these days). The card base and matting are all Blue Bayou (again, I *think* that's right)...and I added some twill ribbon across the middle. Now Diana comes with two sweet sentiments....Precious Gift! and Sweet Little One! I also added a few pearl trios scattered around the card to finish it off!

Now hop on over to the KKStamps challenge blog to see what other Everyday Girls we have for you and which one might be YOU!!! All our new stamps will be released on Sunday, March 13th so start making your list of favourites!!!

Come on back tomorrow for our Krafty Challenge and MORE Krafty Peeks!

Avast Me Hearties!!! It's Day TWO of our Krafty Peeks!!

X marks the spot!!! Today we've got a treasure of a collection of stamps for you from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!! They are the new Pirates from Steven Leary and we are SO excited to share them with ya!!!

There are five of the little scamps and I've made cards with ALL of them....and to be honest, I couldn't decide which card to share today!! So I've chosen one that I created that features TWO of the new stamps! Meet One Eyed Willie and Cannonball Cameron!!!!

I had SO much fun colouring these guys up and I also created the old map background using a large stamp from Impression Obsession! I stamped it using brown ink on kraft cardstock and then scrunched it all up several times, ripped the edges and inked all the edges too. I think it looks pretty cool. Next time I might try burning it too!

The card base is a 6x6 black card with some dark blue-green textured cardstock for the matting, which I distressed around the edges using my sharp little scissors. I remembered I had this anchor charm in my stash of stuff and strung it up with some brown linen thread wrapped around the map three times. Lastly I stamped a couple of sentiments from the Pirate Sentiments set on yellow cardstock and made little flags out of them!

So what do you think? Do they blow you down....or shiver your timbers??? Heehee! And there are MORE of the little Pirates to see, so be sure to pop over to the Kraftin' Kimmie challenge blog to see who else has stuff to share!!

Come on back tomorrow because we'll be sharing the Krafty Peeks featuring the new Annie Rodrigue stamps!!! Who know? Maybe you'll see yourself in them somewhere!!!

Happy kraftin'!

March Krafty Peeks!!! They're heeeeeeeeeeeere!!!

I'm so excited!!! Today is the first day of our Krafty Peeks for the March images from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! Heehee! We have some incredible new stamps to share.....we've got a new set of Krafty Quotes.....some awesome stamps from Steven that will make you say, Aaargh! and a fabulous new set of girls from Annie....that could be YOU!! Yes, YOU! You'll see what I mean as the week goes on!

Today we are featuring the new set of wonderful Krafty Quotes #2!!! The set has four new quotes from Lauren Bacall, Mother Teresa, Bette Midler and L.M. Montgomery! They're fantastic for the focal point of your handmade cards or as an addition to any scrapbook page!!!

For my card I used the quote by L.M. Montgmoery....I just love it! So inspirational! The papers I used are from the My Mind's Eye True Blue 6x6 pad...so fun! I used dark brown cardstock for the 6x6 card base and some turquoise cardstock for matting. This set of Nesties fits a lot of our quotes perfectly....plus it's really classy!

I used a border die to make the big scalloped layer, then added some narrow satin brown ribbon over top of some wide yellow grosgrain ribbon. I used my Bow Easy template to make the little bow for the center and then I finished off the card by adding two turquoise buttons with brown linen thread.

One of the best things about the Krafty Quotes sets (for me anyway), is that they really make nice, quick cards! I loooooooooove to colour images with my Copic markers but when I need to make a quick card, these come in super handy! Plus they are so classy and elegant!

Be sure to come back tomorrow when we'll be previewing the new stamps by Steven Leary....we're sure they'll 'blow you down'!!! Now hop on over to the KKStamps challenge blog and see who else has a Krafty Quote to share!

Happy kraftin'!

Challenge 68 - Twine or Floss!!

It's Saturday, probably my favourite day of the week!! Today is kinda special because Emileigh has her FIRST Saturday off work in about a year! No lie! SO we are going to Kitchener to spend the day shopping....she deserves it! (And if I pick up a few things too, even better!) We chose Kitchener because it's the closest mall that has a Hollister and that's her fave store!!

So we've got another challenge for ya, over at the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps challenge blog and it's to use Twine or Floss on your design!! I pulled out the ADORABLE Catching Butterflies stamp.....just makes me wanna squeeze Miles' little cheeks!!

It ended up being kind of a busy card but I like it! I used kraft cardstock for the 6x6 base and some Bazzill cardstocks for matting. The patterned papers are by We R Memorykeepers and I used several sizes of butterfly punches to decorate. I used brown bakers twine and attached a little butterfly charm. Then I finished it off by adding a sentiment from the Fairy Sentiments set!

I hope you can join us for the challenge this week....and you can use twine, floss, thread, jute, etc. Just use something 'stringy' on your design! And if you use a Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp, you could be the winner of this week's blog candy!!!

And don't forget, Krafty Peeks of our new March stamps start on Wednesday!!!! Eeeee! Are you excited?? I am!

Happy kraftin'!

P is for PINK!!!

This week Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps is sponsoring the ABC Challenge blog and our letter is P!!! Well, what is P for??? P is for PINK, especially for me!!! I LOVES me some pink!!!

I used the fun new Patsy stamp from our February release!! She reminded me of Frenchie from the movie Grease, so I coloured her up with PINK hair!! I wish I had enough nerve to die MY hair pink......well, maybe not!!

So I stamped Patsy and coloured her up with my Copics and then cut her out and embossed her with my new Nesties, then sponged around the frame. The patterned papers are from a We R Memorykeepers 6x6 pad and the card base is Basic Black with some turquoise matting. I added some sweet polka dot ribbon by Papertrey and made the bow using my Bow Easy template

The Prima hydrangeas matched perfectly so I attached them with glittery green brads. I added one of the THREE sentiments that comes with Patsy (yes, I said three) and lastly, I attached a clock charm with white Scrapper's Floss, so that Patsy could 'Rock Around the Clock'!!!

Hop on over to the ABC Challenge blog and join our fun challenge, and use some Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps too, if you have some!!!

Happy kraftin'!
