I'm happy to share a new card with you today for the Wonderful Wednesday challenge over on the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps challenge blog! Did you know that you can enter the WW challenges each week to up your chances to WIN the monthly prize??
My card features the new RAINY DAY FUN! stamp set and I used the image featuring Lexi and her little fluffy friend! I coloured them up with my Copic markers to coordinate with the Doodlebug papers I used. I paper pieced the umbrella with a small pattern and used my C3 marker to add some shading on the paper. The sentiments is a sweet one from the stamp set, plus I doodled around the frames, added a sparkly flower and finished it off with some enamel dots!!

Welcome to day ONE of our MAY Kraftin' Kimmie Previews!!! Today
we are excited to share a cute new set featuring Lulu, Lexi and Lucas! It's by artist Cheryl Alger and we're SURE it will 'float your boat' ! We are sharing samples today featuring.......AHOY, SAILOR!!
I am so happy with the way this card turned out....which doesn't happen all that often! Haha! I actually made this card when I was at Scrapfest!! I must have been feelin' my krafty mojo!!
I used Lexi from the new set and paired her up with the new By the Sea papers by Graphic 45! PERFECT for these new sets!! I distressed all the paper layers with my scissors and with distress ink. I added a doily, a seashell, some lace, twine and a seahorse charm!! Lastly, I added one of the fabulous sentiments that comes with the set!!! Hope you like her!!

Good morning, krafty friends! Just thought I would post one of the cards I designed at Scrapfest a couple of weeks ago! It features the new MONSTER HUGS stamp set!!
But hang on! I haven't mentioned anything about our trip, have I?? We had SO much fun at Scrapfest in Kitchener and actually got quite a bit accomplished in between the laughs and silliness!!
We packed up the car....and it was FULL!! Then Melanie, Tammy and I headed to Kitchener!! We had to make a couple of pitstops on the way to the Auditorium....including Curry's, Chapters and Starbucks where I had my very first Grande Vanilla Non-Fat Latte!! Mmmm!
We finally made it to the event, found our tables and met up with LOTS of our krafty friends including Alexis, Olga, Margie and we met our friends from Quebec for the very first time.....Stephanie and Marilyn! P.S. The theme was Movie Mania and we were The Hunger Games/Catching Fire! We rocked!
Kraftiness ensued, cards were made, prizes won and LOTS of laughs were had!!! It was a fabulous weekend! Not....on to my card!!
I used Monster Hugs along with some fun and colourful MME papers! I used the dotting technique to create this monster's fluffy fur and added some faux stitching, some seam binding ribbon with a button and linen thread and also some beautiful frosted flowers! Lastly I added one of the fabulous sentiments that comes with this cute set!!!

Each month I hold a Krafty Kard Klass at my home in the Krafty Kave!! I thought I would share the cards we made at this month's event!
I designed three of the projects featuring our NEW April release stamps and this first one uses Lexi from the RAINY DAY FUN! stamp set! I used patterned papers from Kaisercraft's Butterfly Wishes collection and we paper pieced the umbrella and popped up the bottom edge. We used a glaze pen on the raindrops and puddle, doodled around the edge of the main layer, added May Arts ribbon with a double bow and stamped one of the sweet sentiments on a cloud die!
The second card features one of the lovely ladies from our new BLOOMIN' WONDERFUL! stamp set and her pleats were lots of fun to colour! The papers are from the Kaisercraft Candy Lane collection....such beautiful colours! We used some wide pink May Arts ribbon and made a big ol' bow! We added a fishtail layer and used some dies, a button and linen thread to make the flower embellishment and we popped up the main layer and also the sentiment layer!
The third card was a little more clean and simple and it features the new MONSTER HUGS! stamp set which is so much fun for kid's cards and scrapbook pages! We coloured up the main image to coordinate with some more Kaisercraft dp that we used for the fishtail flag. We did the fur technique with colourless blender solution and some cheesecloth to get that fun pattern on the monster's fur. We layered some cheesecloth under the main image, added a sentiment directly to the card base and the finishing touch is a trio of pink sequins!!
Our final project was a very elegant kraft tag featuring our lovely FLOWERS FEED THE SOUL stamp set! I wanted to try the no lines technique but wanted to start with something small so I stamped the posie image on the tag using Desert Sand Memento ink and coloured it up in purples and greens. Because the lines were so hard to see on the kraft paper, I coloured one petal at a time, so everything didn't run in together. I LOVE the way it turned out and I think it looks sort of like a watercolour!
