Wanna See My Booty?

Good morning, krafty friends!!!  As you know, this past weekend saw the release of our NEW June stamp sets!!!  It included some sassy pirate ladies from Annie called BOOTYLICIOUS, a set of pirate kiddos from Cheryl called LIL' SWASHBUCKLERS and a new set of beautiful mermaids and friends from Thais called UNDER THE SEA 2!!!

Today I'm sharing a card I made featuring one of the BOOTYLICIOUS ladies!!  Haha!  There's just something about pirates that I love!  They have cool clothes and hats, they are sassy and sexy PLUS they have such awesome accents!!  ;)

I stamped the image on Xpress It paper with Memento ink and coloured her up with my Copic markers to coordinate with the World Traveler papers by Teresa Collins.  I distressed everything with black distress ink, added some May Arts ribbon, some rhinestones and a skull and crossbones charm!  Lastly I stamped one of the fabulous sentiments from the BOOTYLICIOUS stamp set!!

Be sure to hop over to Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps and check out all the new stamp sets we have for you!!  Also there will be MORE new paper pads coming SOON!!

Shabby Chic Birthday Girl!

I'm excited to share this card with you today because I love the way it turned out!  I was on a roll in the krafty kave this weekend and saw the challenge over at Kit and Clowder to create a shabby chic card for June!  So off I went!

I love the look of shabby chic but don't often use it but I just got some great papers called Vintage Lace by Bazzill that were perfect for this technique!

So I coloured up the Birthday Girl image from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps using my Copic markers then cut it out using my oval Nestabilities and sponged around the frame with Tea Dye distress ink!  I also sponged all the patterened papers and the card base is vanilla!

The frame and paper piercing template I used for both the main layer and the sentiment layer are from Stampin' UP.....I love that shape!  The sentiments is from the Wanna Hang? stamp set!

Then I added some pretty accent flowers AND my fave part....the silk ribbon from May Arts!  I used my Bow Easy to make a nice, full double bow with it!

Thanks so much for stopping by.....and happy kraftin'!!

It's Wonderful Wednesday!

I'm happy to be back sharing a new creation with you today.....this one is for our weekly Wonderful Wednesday challenge over at the KKS blog!  It's always Anything Goes as long as you use a Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp!

The is the first time I've inked up this summery gal, SUNNIE!  The papers I used are from the Simple Stories Fabulous 6x6 pad and they seemed perfect for a beach themed card!

I used my Silhouette to cut out the palm trees, added lace trim, a button and twine.  Plus I stamped the sentiment that comes with the image on a flag!  I love the way it turned out.....makes me think of hot days at the beach.....with a yummy drink in hand!

Be sure to join us for this week's challenge PLUS don't forget to enter our Krafty Guest Spot Contest!!!  We'd love to have you join us for the month!  Read all about it here....and you have less than a week!!!

Happy kraftin'!
